Gymatics is a strength-training log for Android, for people who lift and for coaches. This page explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and how you delete it. In short: your training is yours, we show no ads, and we sell nothing.

What we collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or files. There are no advertising or analytics tools in the app.
Where it is kept
- On your phone, in the app's private storage. The app works fully offline.
- In your account in the cloud, on Google Firebase, in the European Union (Belgium). Data travels encrypted (TLS).
- In backup files you make. You can export a file of your data at any time. The app also saves a safety copy to your phone's Downloads folder before you switch accounts or delete your account. Once saved, these files are yours and we cannot reach them.
Who can see what
- You see everything in your account.
- A coach sees the records they keep about their clients and the sessions they log with them. A coach never sees a client's own training done without them.
- A client who links to a coach sees their own record at that coach: the sessions logged together and their packages. Never the coach's other clients.
- Nobody can search for users. A coach is found only through the Coach ID they choose to share.
- We do not sell or share your data for advertising. Google provides our sign-in, database and crash reporting as a service provider.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
- Your data stays until you delete it. Something you delete in the app (a workout, a programme, a client) is hidden everywhere and never shown again.
- You can delete your whole account in the app (More › Account › Delete account). It happens at once. You can also ask by email — see Delete your account.
- When an account is deleted, nothing of it stays on our servers. A coach you trained with keeps the record they made of your training, no longer linked to you.
- Crash reports are kept by Google for 90 days.
Your choices and rights
- See and take your data: export a backup file from the app at any time.
- Correct it: edit your profile and records in the app.
- Delete it: in the app, or by email.
- For anything else about your data, email support@gymatics.net. We answer within one working day.
Changes
If we change what we collect or who can see it, we will update this page and its date before the change reaches the app.
